Beaver Farms History

The Beaver Family has been farming in Iredell County continuously since the late 1860s. Operating mainly as a dairy farm from 1949 until 2018. Now Beaver Farms is a fifth-generation farm specializing in beef, strawberries, corn and grain farming.

On The Farm

Strawberries

Delicious You Pick and Fresh Pre-picked Strawberries! Strawberry season is usually late April through the month of May.

You Pick
We provide picking containers. No admission fee.

Pre-picked
Picked fresh daily! Always first come, first served. No holds or orders.

Produce

We offer Sweet Corn, Watermelon and Cantaloupe in the summer that pair nicely with our pasture raised beef. Check back often for seasonal item availability.

Pumpkins

We grow a variety of pumpkins including jacks, heirlooms and minis available during the fall.

Pasture Raised Beef

Our cattle are humanely raised on our pastures here in Iredell County. They receive supplemental grain and hay in addition to their grass diet throughout their lifetime to achieve optimal tenderness and flavor. The meat is dry aged for 14 days, vacuum sealed, and frozen in a USDA-certified facility. We sell beef all year during open hours or by appointment.

Sunflowers

Walk through our beautiful maze filled with over ten different types of sunflowers! We have a section to Pick Your Own – Cutting tools are provided. Pre-picked singles and bundles of sunflowers are available for purchase as well. Professional and personal photography is allowed inside the maze. Sunflowers generally bloom in late summer/early fall.
